Cyolo needed creative direction and development of visual assets for B2B marketing of their high-security remote access workspace solutions. So, we developed a scalable visual system that aimed to soften the edges of highly-technical cybersecurity content into a more modern, human-centric brand voice.
To achieve this, I defined visual rules that could consistently be applied across formats, utilizing branded elements and new motifs involving curved shapes echoing their logo, marked usage of gradients, and other visual devices. In addition, we strategically selected our imagery to reflect people using technology with a confident and worry-free mood, aiming for visuals where devices’ screens aren’t in view so that the focus was more on the user and less on the tech itself, veering away from overly-technical imagery in general.
